Depth Metal is a digital illustration I created as a personal project to sell at conventions. I took the original myth of the singing siren and applied it to the more contemporary genre of rock & roll and heavy metal. The golden trident of Poseidon has been transformed into an electric guitar. I staged around her angler fish and volcanic vents to simulate stage lighting.
